Booked a Luxury ride to the airport. They sent me a six year old Ford Taurus that was Gray, not black, all dented up, dirty filthy. I immediately called the service and asked for a partial refund and they tried to tell me that the car I got is part of their luxury service. What a joke. No partial refund issued. Don’t waste your time or money. This service used to be good. No longer. Use an alternate carrier IMO.

We were supposed to be picked up at Laguardia on May 22. First, I didn't like that the notifications, once I checked in, were going to email instead of my phone, when all the earlier notifications were going to my phone. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I checked my email to see how to contact them, and there was the notification with the driver's info, and said to wait 10 minutes. Well, it had been 12 minutes now. Not a big deal. However, when I tried to call the driver to see how long before they arrived, they said they lost the keys to their car. What?! And, if that did happen, why didn't they contact me to tell me that When I called Dial 7, they did get another driver to me pretty quickly, which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. However, they refused to give me any type of refund, which is silly, since I would have been sitting there a lot longer, had a I not called the driver, then them. I won't use Dial 7 again.
As a side note, we had a Chinese-American driver, who seemed nice enough most of the drive. However, as we got nearer the hotel, and he's cutting off people driving (normal NYC behavior), he proceeded to roll down his window, stick out the bird, and yell "F you!" a couple times at a bus driver who appeared to not let him cut off the bus. NY is everything they say!

Let me start by saying I have been a dial 7 customer since I moved to the city 9 years ago, so I have been a loyal customer up until now. I landed after my flight and got the email and text confirmation as usual to click ready when you’re ready for pick up, I did. Notice said I would get my car info in a minute or two like usual. 10 mins later I got no email so I called. Dispatch had a problem and my driver was still 30 mins away. After waiting 40 mins the car finally comes. As the driver was driving through the city he started fiddling with his phone causing him to swerve and people to beep, creating unsafe conditions to the point i had to ask him to stop his phone and please pay attention to the road and wait til we are parked. We are parked I already prepaid so I should be set to leave and run to work just being late, wrong. The driver forces me to stay In his car bc his app with the company isn’t working to put his tip in (which is what he was fiddling with making unsafe conditions) He’s trying to call his company and not letting me leave while I’m literally begging him to let me leave (which is already a scary thing to deal with as a woman traveling alone) and I keep telling him I’ll call the company after I make it to work. I finally get out of the car and call dial 7 requesting a refund or something because they were egregiously late and put me through unsafe conditions and I unfortunately had the displeasure of speaking with the Manager Susan who instead of apologizing after hearing the above decides to lecture me about dial 7’s policy regarding credit cards - I don’t care about that. I’m calling about the fact you are a car service with my flight info meant to pick me up on time to make my life feel safe and easy. Instead I was forced to wait with no information, and put through unsafe conditions, while the manager refused to acknowledge what happened and refused to listen to me. I don’t know who hurt Susan to make her speak to people the way she did at a customer support facing job, but for the sake of your safety and sanity USE UBER OR LYFT and pray you don’t have to talk to Manager Susan about anything because she will refuse to help and give you nothing but an extra headache. The car ride is recorded I kept telling her to literally listen to the tapes, you can hear everything I say is accurate. I understand the competition is high with services like Lyft and Uber, but Dial 7 is never going to be able to compete with them if this is how management treats their loyal customers. Will never waste my time with Dial 7 again. Be warned there are so many other car options out there!

I frequently use Dial 7. This Wednesday they picked up my passengers and went to JFK.
The driver was very professional and courteous. I paid cash they charged my CC ,$199 as a hold. I have spoken to 3 people over the phone and still no refund. Tired of waiting

I have used Dial 7 everytime I visit NYC over the past 15 years and I always receive great service that is timely and kind.

This past experience from LGA to our hotel in the city was no different. Kind and professional plus on time and communicated immediately when our flight landed.

I am a frequent rider with Dial 7. I have been overall happy with the service that I’ve received. Today, I had a driver named Xin who was very rude. He asked me to confirm my name and address to the place that I was going. I complied. When I asked him what was his name he replied, •”Dial 7.” I told him I needed to confirm that he was the correct person picking me up. He glared at me angrily and put his hands on his hips before putting my luggage in the trunk. I explained that I wanted to know his name for safety reasons. He said, “Do you need another car?”

I explained to him again I needed confirmation.

He said, “ Then you need another ride.” He took my luggage out the trunk and drove away.

I was left at the airport. This is the second incident that I have had with Dial 7 in two weeks.
